DISCLAIMER

I'm not a lawyer and don't have a clue how to write a proper disclaimer, but that's what this is supposed to be.  What is shown are my ideas, and are in no way endorsed by Sonex, Ltd. (so please don't call them for assistance or to discuss this engine for the Sonex).  I'm not an engineer, nor have I ever stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. Proceed at your own risk!
On September 2nd, 2004, I embarked on a lifelong dream; building and flying my own airplane.

On December 17th, 2006, the 103rd anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk, NC, I fulfilled that dream with the first flight of my Cleanex homebuilt airplane.

My airplane, N694CS, is registered as a Cleanex.  She is comprised of Sonex kit #0694 from the FWB.  FWF she sports a William Wynne 3100 Corvair engine, situated on a Dan Weseman designed engine mount, surrounded by a Dan Weseman designed cowling that I slightly modified.

My builders log show 953 hours.  I estimate the custom Corvair installation added about 100 hours labor over a standard Jabiru 3300 installation.  Other mods, like the removable instrument panel, also added time.

This site is under construction, and it will take awhile before all the links are active, flight data is uploaded, etc.  Please check back regularly as I update the site.

Heard on 122.90, uttered by Pat Lee, NWA pilot and RV7A builder & pilot, upon seeing Dan Weseman and me flying our Cleanex homebuilt aircraft above Haller Airpark, FL....
